The prototyping of electric machines is divided into two main parts, the mechanical part, and the electrical part. First, the components designed during the mechanical design phase are made by a CNC machine. A wire cutter machine cuts the stator and rotor sheets. After assembly of all components, electrical components, including windings, wires, position, and current sensors are added to the motor. Below are some of the various stages of prototyping which performed at the EMTRL.
